I am bullish on Micron (MU), SanDisk (SNDK), and SK hynix. My thesis is that the market may be underestimating how long AI-driven memory demand can sustain tight supply, pricing power, and strong earnings.

AI could extend the memory cycle. My hypothesis is that AI infrastructure investment will support demand for memory and storage for longer than a typical consumer-led recovery. The opportunity depends on demand continuing to outpace economically available supply.

Different products offer different paths to upside. For Micron and SK hynix, I am watching whether HBM and server DRAM demand translate into sustained margins and cash flow. For SanDisk, the test is whether AI-related storage demand materially improves NAND pricing, enterprise product mix, and profitability. These are related opportunities, but they require separate evidence.

Earnings durability is the potential valuation disconnect. I believe these companies may be undervalued if the market still treats stronger earnings as a brief cyclical peak. The upside would come from profits and free cash flow remaining elevated longer than expected, rather than from demand growth alone.
The thesis weakens if supply catches up faster than expected, AI spending fails to translate into sustained memory and storage orders, or capacity expansion absorbs the additional profits without generating adequate returns. Strong industry demand alone would not justify the investment if valuations already reflect an optimistic outcome.
