Rocket Lab's Neutron delay looks minor because its cadence should scale much faster than Terran-R's in the long run, even if Terran-R flies first. A forward-dome manufacturing issue moved Neutron's first flight to 2027; Q2 now sounds more likely than the expected Q1. The delay is disappointing, but Electron reached 100 launches faster than Falcon 9, and Iridium does not need Neutron soon. Peter Beck's transparency is appreciated; management may have waited for a solution despite bad timing. x.com x.com x.com x.com x.com x.comÂ
