BWX Technologies combines established naval nuclear demand with growth from commercial nuclear and microreactors, making it one of the most obvious buys today. Nuclear components and fuel for US submarines and aircraft carriers carry the business, with real contracts, profits, growing revenue and little reliance on speculative announcements. Guidance is up and backlog has grown, which looks better at a lower price. The premium valuation is worth paying as the next wave of nuclear demand builds. … Show more

BWX Technologies and Centrus Energy are the better nuclear bets because the critical node is not the reactor but the fuel and components nobody can quickly replicate. Most investors in the nuclear renaissance are buying one of 127 competing small modular reactor designs. Sweden's Studsvik is also structurally strong, but its margins keep missing targets and revenue growth is weak, so it stays on the watchlist. x.com  x.com

Nuclear stocks like Cameco, Centrus, BWX Technologies, Constellation, Vistra, Talen, Oklo and NuScale are exposed because pro-nuclear sentiment can reverse for a decade or two, and investors who started after Fukushima have only seen the pro phase. The US never built a central waste site, so spent fuel sits on-site in dry casks, at San Onofre barely 100 feet from the Pacific. An earthquake, corrosion or a disaster anywhere, under any design, could turn the public against nuclear again. x.com  … Show more

BWX Technologies looks overlooked as the only supplier of miniature nuclear reactors for US Navy ships. The US Navy now owns 25% of BWXT, yet the stock has hardly moved. x.com

BWX Technologies is the best nuclear play because its business is built on government contracts. @cfromhertz, in the post quoted, notes a weekly chart at new highs in a rough cup-and-handle pattern. x.com

US nuclear stocks such as Centrus Energy and BWX Technologies could see a resurgence because electricity is by far AI's most important bottleneck. BloombergNEF now expects 118GW of US data-center capacity by 2030, 52% above its prior forecast, yet that is 63GW short of what planned AI chip shipments would need. BWX also gains from the Navy's $76 billion submarine award to General Dynamics and Huntington Ingalls, as a key subcontractor. Nuclear stocks have been hit hard after early AI gains. … Show more

The suppliers beneath the big nuclear deals going to Constellation Energy and Vistra get paid while the utilities get the headlines. GE Vernova supplies nuclear equipment, turbines and grid gear; Cameco uranium, fuel and Westinghouse technology; Centrus US enrichment and HALEU for the coming SMR boom; BWX Technologies nuclear components and reactor manufacturing. Oklo is an SMR developer and future fuel customer, while Fluor and Quanta Services add construction and power-infrastructure exposure. … Show more

Vistra, Constellation Energy, Cameco, BWX Technologies and Oklo could benefit as the US government puts about $4 billion behind nuclear power. Vistra is directly tied to the new $4.2 billion DOE loan, and Constellation is a top US nuclear operator with major data center power deals. Cameco mines uranium and part-owns Westinghouse; BWX Technologies supplies nuclear components, fuel and reactor technology, including for government programs; Oklo is developing its own advanced fission plants. x.com  … Show more

BWX Technologies is a company of the future, with bets on a positive future such as Kinectrics building a tritium loop facility in the UK for fusion reactors. The stock is expensive, but the chart shows a bullish ascending triangle, and a break above $220 is the signal to watch; a deep break of the lower trendline would be unwelcome. Look beyond the thin veil of negativity. x.com

Nuclear is the always-on energy source that looks pricey but is far more competitive on true cost per delivered watt, making Oklo, NuScale, X-Energy, Denison Mines and BWX Technologies one of the main ways to play the energy transition, alongside solar and batteries. x.com
