Meta committed to $95B in shareholder dilution for AI, Anthropic is set to have $200B in cash in a couple of weeks, and SpaceX got a $40B Apollo loan solely to buy more Nvidia GPUs. Per Sawyer Merritt, Anthropic's IPO filing projects up to $120.5 billion in spending under SpaceXAI agreements through 2029, reaching about $3.1 billion monthly once capacity is delivered in December 2026. A Tesla-SpaceX merger would unite an unrivalled mix of space, AI, Optimus, connectivity, Cybercab, Roadster, robotaxis and bitcoin into a $100T company in the making. Their combined 30,221 bitcoin would make them the sixth-largest corporate holder. Revenue is $14 billion this quarter, and even the Street's $120 billion forecast for next year looks aggressive. SpaceX's shrinking cash balance points to another capital raise in Q4 2026 at this rate. Cash and equivalents fell from about $100B to $51.3B quarter on quarter, 43.76% below Wall Street's $91.2B estimate. SpaceX's near-monopoly in global satellite internet, built on reusable rockets, should generate enormous cash flow to partly fund its AI compute buildout. Those cash flows should strengthen its credit profile and let it finance the rest more cheaply than pure-play neoclouds CoreWeave, Nebius and IREN, which SpaceX makes obsolete. Space would become a market for Optimus and energy storage.
