Kratos is already building unmanned combat jets at scale while most of the category is still doing demos. A Marine Corps Valkyrie launched without a runway, was handed to a Marine operator beyond line of sight, flew with F-35s and an F/A-18, met its electronic warfare goals and returned autonomously. Kratos says it builds more Group 5 unmanned jets than anyone, over 150 this year, scaling toward about 40 Valkyries a year. The Pentagon's 2027 request has about $75 billion for unmanned systems. x.com
