The SaaSpocalypse narrative makes less and less sense for Salesforce, ServiceNow and Palantir, because enterprises will deploy AI agents that use software tools rather than build their own software. ServiceNow's seat business is being cannibalized faster than AI deals can replace it. Next-quarter cRPO growth is guided to 18.5%, down from 20.5%, while subscription growth was 24.5% two quarters ago; agentic usage on its platform is up 13x. ServiceNow's growth looks likely to keep slowing, yet it trades at 50x 2027 GAAP EPS versus 20-25x for Microsoft, Google and Amazon growing as fast or faster. Subscription revenue grew about 21%, but the customer base is flat, so growth relies on upselling modules. Operating margin dipped and stock-based pay rose. Anthropic's customer growth gives AI compute suppliers firmer demand evidence than capacity plans. Its S-1 reports $16.3B in H1 2026 revenue and about 900% net retention as of September 30, the strongest evidence yet of adoption. Over $500B in commitments include a roughly $125B five-year Broadcom equipment lease plus Amazon, Google and Microsoft arrangements; Nvidia GPUs are in its mix. Anthropic's compute commitments point to future revenue for Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft, Broadcom and Nvidia. Its S-1 reports 14-fold revenue growth, positive second-quarter 2026 EBIT and more than $600 billion committed to compute through 2045. Microsoft's AI spending is producing faster growth with better economics: Azure accelerated to 48% on a $100B+ base while capex was $39.4B, below expectations.
