Nebius's integrated AI cloud offers a substantial long-term opportunity beyond simply controlling powered land as training and inference demand expands. It builds data centers and GPU clusters and runs networking, storage and customer software; Microsoft and Meta have multi-year commitments. Fresh funding for AI expansion supports a continued bid for AI stocks as compute spending shows no sign of slowing. Meta committed to $95B in shareholder dilution for AI, Anthropic is set to have $200B in cash in a couple of weeks, and SpaceX got a $40B Apollo loan solely to buy more Nvidia GPUs. The Anthropic IPO might even be a positive catalyst rather than the negative one many fear. x.com 

Meta's negative free cash flow from AI capex is an expected investment phase, not a broken thesis. Analysts had forecast deterioration through 2027 as infrastructure spending accelerates, followed by a sharp recovery in 2028 as those investments begin generating cash. Meta Platforms is a far better investment than Nebius at current prices. At about 21x earnings and 18x forward, Meta offers Nebius-like compute exposure where demand outstrips supply, plus a frontier lab with cheaper models, a profitable ad business that AI makes even better, and AR/VR. Nebius is heavily hyped and very expensive. Renting out excess compute, as xAI does at a premium per SemiAnalysis, means Meta's capex could earn strong returns. x.com  x.com
