Corning's optical connectivity business is set to grow after Nvidia pushed it to expand that manufacturing capacity tenfold, while funds flow back into beaten-down quality names. Per @Venu_7_, optical sales rose 32% to $2.07 billion, EPS is expected to more than triple by 2028, and AI deals with Nvidia, Meta and Amazon back it. IREN, Nebius, Nvidia and Coherent are backed by signed contracts in a $602 billion hyperscaler capex cycle, 75% of it for AI, already committed through contracts, bonds and supply deals. Nvidia's $2 billion stakes in Coherent, Nebius and Marvell lock in its supply chain for a decade. Nebius has $46 billion of commitments from Meta and Microsoft, and IREN targets 140,000 GPUs and 85% EBITDA margins by end-2026. Astera Labs carries a huge premium for flawless execution against a CXL market that is small near term. Switch-based CXL memory pooling capturing $15-16B in 2026-2028 is low probability: Marvell guides its XConn switch business to only about $100M by fiscal 2028, PCIe included. Pooling software likely stays immature into 2028, per a Samsung white paper, and Nvidia is contesting the warm KV-cache tier.
