Arbitrum token holders face more selling pressure and a thinner treasury. The Arbitrum Foundation is asking the DAO for about $43.5 million for another year, including 230 million ARB, about 3.7% of supply, while the DAO earned $23.49 million in 2025, per @DefiIgnas. Robinhood's growth benefits the stock and its aligned players, but the Arbitrum token's own pitch shows ARB is a governance token rather than a capital-efficient one. Arbitrum looks bottomed and could rally 3–4x on a mean reversion. Between Hyperliquid and Robinhood Chain choosing it, Arbitrum is a clear winner among Ethereum layer-2s to build on. ARB looks bottomed against BTC and ETH, is closer to full circulation than peers, and sits at a $550M market cap after topping $3B in a weak August 2025 pump; even an echo pump would take it to about $2B. It is a governance token with zero value accrual, though, and supply unlocks remain. x.com 

Most Ethereum layer-2 tokens will likely keep bleeding as Ethereum scales its base layer. They have destroyed wealth over the past two years: Polygon's POL is down 90%, Arbitrum's ARB 94% and Optimism's OP 97%. x.com 

Tokens with real value capture, disciplined supply, usage-driven demand and holder alignment are worth owning; narrative tokens without them are tactical trades. Bitcoin and Ethereum stay the core, with Aave, Pendle, Bittensor and Virtuals also held; Virtuals is a higher-conviction AI pick at the center of a growing agent economy, though its value capture must improve. Cardano is large-cap vapour trending toward zero: a $7B fully diluted valuation is utterly ridiculous for a legacy infrastructure project that has delivered nothing. Everyone holding for the last six years is at a loss, and the next cycle is unlikely to repump it because retail now has more attractive frontier equities to chase. TAO's narrative took a big hit after Covenant appeared to completely rug existing holders of its subnet tokens Templar, Grail and Basilica, prompting an exit from both the subnets and TAO. It is like the largest app on a layer-1 rage-quitting the chain and taking all value from its own token. Robinhood Chain revenue flowing to Arbitrum is not priced into ARB at all. 10% of Robinhood Chain revenue goes to Arbitrum: 8% to the DAO treasury controlled by ARB holders and 2% to the Arbitrum Developer Guild. Arbitrum's breakout reflects real demand from Robinhood Chain, which runs on Arbitrum and cleared over $1.5 billion of DEX volume in a single day this month. After seven months between $0.08 and $0.14, ARB has more than doubled off its August low to press $0.20, with $0.18-0.20 now support. Holding $0.20 opens $0.28, then $0.35 and $0.51.
