Midnight's validators are running code whose hash does not match what NIGHT governance voted on, which contradicts the network's own governance process. Governance approved version 1.0.300, yet validators run unknown code with a different hash. @SteveCapric counters that the source is open and anyone can verify the hash. x.com 

Midnight is a nightmare of centralization and effectively vaporware. Its validators swapped in closed-source code on September 25 without notice; ten anonymous keys can freeze, censor and pick nodes; 13 keys control block production; and founders control majority supply. Almost no NIGHT sits on its own chain, at 0.0017 TPS; most is on Cardano under an admin key that could take funds or inflate supply.
