Rocket Lab keeps executing, guiding Q3 revenue to $250-265M, up 61-70% year over year and above the roughly $236M analyst estimate. Q2 results were mostly in line with expectations, with revenue up 62% year over year. x.com 

Rocket Lab's growing Space Systems business positions it to provide more than launches for the space economy. It generated $189.5M in Q2, 81% of revenue; if its pending Iridium acquisition closes, it would gain a global satellite communications network. At about $51, this is one of the most compelling long-term opportunities in the space sector over 3-5 years, provided it keeps executing. Rocket Lab shares look set to grind as Neutron's first flight slips, even though the core business is at its strongest. Q2 revenue hit a record $234.1M, up 62%, and backlog rose 137% to $2.356B. But the Q3 guide cuts GAAP gross margin to 29-31% from 36.1%, below the ~37.6% expected, with adjusted EBITDA losses widening to $17-23M on low-margin satellite programs, Mynaric integration and Neutron spending. A Q1 2027 Neutron debut is now the base case, which will disappoint high expectations. x.com 

Rocket Lab's latest quarter supports a move toward $122, with growth, backlog and guidance all stepping up. Revenue cleared about $200M, up roughly 60% year over year, and backlog now exceeds $2B. Liquidity is strong, with about $1.5B in cash and more than $2B in total liquidity. Management again guided Q2 higher, to $232M versus a $208M street consensus. x.com 

Investors rotating into cheaper stocks with more upside should ultimately benefit Rocket Lab and AST SpaceMobile. Both have already suffered major drawdowns. x.com 

Rocket Lab's fundamentals do not yet justify buying, even after a 55% drop took it to around its 200-day moving average. It still lacks positive earnings, net income and growing free cash flow. The upside could be significant if the business executes over the next few years, but more proof of profitability is needed first; it stays on the watch list. x.com  x.com 

Rocket Lab can raise capital from a stronger position if better communication wins scarce investor attention. Hiring an experienced content engineer adds that capability alongside its engineering, helping people understand why its products matter. Attention may not directly lift free cash flow per share, but it can lift the stock price and build an engaged investor base for a capital-intensive business. x.com 

Rocket Lab's bounce has room to run to $65 after buyers returned following shipment of Neutron's second stage to its Virginia launch site. A break above $65 before November 9 results remains the real test. x.com 

Repeated Neutron delays undermine the premium on Rocket Lab stock when execution keeps slipping. The company does not live or die by Neutron, but 50x sales was unjustified; even at 26x 2027 sales, a legitimate price suggests another 50% decline. x.com  x.com 

Planet Labs has an excellent fundamental trend and is a long-term pick within the smaller-cap space theme, though it is less attractive than Rocket Lab on both fundamentals and technicals.
