Rocket Lab is the preferred long-term space holding over Redwire because CEO Peter Beck leaves zero concern about fundamental execution. Redwire has a lot of potential but much to prove: its management is unconvincing, with sketchy past tactics and marketing spending that seems out of step with its priorities, so it fits a theme-driven swing trade rather than a long-term hold. x.comÂ

Redwire's teaming agreement with Kanematsu gives it market access in Japan, where public money is flowing into space and pharma is a natural customer for microgravity work. Kanematsu, a trading house with a dedicated aerospace division, has played the same role for Sierra Space since 2021 and will handle business development in power generation, microgravity payloads and robotics.
