Cerebras looks attractive because the short report's two-year wafer-life thesis rests on unvalidated reliability assumptions, not representative failure data. Energy per useful token, lower warranty utilization and ordinary repair accounting also undercut its financial conclusions. OpenAI has integrated Cerebras into production; AMD and AWS have announced integrations, while Oracle plans 2027 availability for ultra-fast inference, adding commercial validation despite the report. x.com  x.com 

Cerebras should dominate the enormous fast-inference market because agentic workflows often run steps sequentially, making each step's speed critical. Its newly announced Oracle partnership brings its ultra-fast inference to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Cerebras delivers inference speeds up to 13x faster than Nvidia GPUs, and its chips should eventually reach every major AI cloud. x.com 

Cerebras is not worth owning because its proprietary stack faces limited broad adoption. The attached analysis says NVIDIA-aligned cloud operators are unlikely to deploy Cerebras hardware, while Groq LPUs fit NVIDIA's software ecosystem more easily. It also flags Cerebras' scaling and deployment friction, despite solid product-market fit with marquee customers. x.com 

Better power delivery appears to be helping Cerebras work through wafer-scale power and thermal limits more than expected. CS-4 gets higher clocks and improved I/O from WSE-3T, despite the same core count and SRAM capacity as WSE-3. Oracle, OpenAI and AWS choosing to work with Cerebras carries weight. But higher clocks do not answer Culper Research's allegation that its wafers fail after about two years; how representative those failures are of current systems remains unclear. x.com 

Oracle's non-AI revenue and scale could help it outlast debt-starved neoclouds. Elon Musk says debt markets have largely shut out firms lacking substantial non-AI revenue. Oracle raised $20B through an ATM without significant dilution; unlike other major hyperscalers, it is not building Nvidia alternatives, giving Nvidia reason to prioritize it. If Musk is right, consolidation could lift Oracle's pricing power; at 19x earnings, it is without a doubt one of AI infrastructure's best buys. x.com 

Cerebras' first buyable price, near a $100 billion market cap after its IPO price was raised 50% and the stock doubled at open, buys an uncertain call option on an architecture with hard trade-offs. Its wafer-scale chip gives each core only 48 KB of SRAM, 44 GB in total versus 13.5 TB of HBM3E in Nvidia's GB200 NVL72 rack, and its compiler complexity means it can never match Nvidia's software optimization. Oracle's projected free-cash-flow turnaround challenges the market's fear that data-center spending will bring insolvency or years of cash burn for little return. Oracle expects positive FCF in the second half of FY28, at least $30B in FY29 and self-funded growth by FY29 as capex declines. Already undervalued, Oracle is seeing a lift; the clearer profitability path could lift other data-center operators too. x.com 

Oracle's plan to fund its AI buildout from cash flow makes last week's financing fears look completely overdone. It expects capex to peak in FY27-28, free cash flow to turn positive in H2 FY28 and top $30B in FY29, funding growth from then. Oracle plans at most $20B in further capital raises through FY30, excluding refinancing, after an already completed $20B equity raise. Cerebras is difficult for retail investors to understand, and management has not done a great job explaining its business since going public. It deserves more attention as the most direct AI IPO of 2026, but going long Cerebras is hard to justify when Nvidia can be owned instead. x.com 

Oracle looks mispriced because $11 of current consolidated earnings power puts it at 11x earnings without a breakup. It trades below its software business's value despite the highest gross retention in software; separating pre-AI OCI, AI operations and AI development makes it an obvious long. Future funding will cost more, but current leverage is no issue and all contracts are well below spot, leaving nowhere near neocloud risk.
