XRP faces mild selling risk as Binance's share of its supply may be rising while bears look more dominant. That share rebounded from about 2.58 to 2.66 in October; daily XRP Ledger transactions reached about 2.49 million, up 14.78%. More transactions do not automatically mean buying: they include sellers, and their destination and value are unknown. With price weak, rising exchange supply could add downside pressure, though these indicators do not directly determine price. x.com 

The broader crypto bull market should help XRP do very well into 2027, even as its adoption case looks less compelling. More tokenization appears to be happening on Ethereum than XRPL, Ripple feels a bit behind on innovation, and fast cross-border settlement is less distinctive now. XRP faces a prolonged liquidity vacuum because 2026 capital is front-running AI cloud infrastructure and mega-cap tech IPOs instead of flowing into beaten-down altcoins as in past cycles. The chart may look symmetrical with prior cycles, but the macro backdrop isn't; a defensive retest of $0.70, which @CheekyCrypto calls the largest buying zone in eight years, is not enough. Ripple's Swell event could give XRP a bump once Bitcoin finishes its correction, as more XRP news arrives while the token is already in the buy zone. XRP's network activity has contracted almost completely since its speculative peak, leaving a fragile market. The 90-day average of total fees fell 91.5%, from 5.9k XRP in February 2025 to 0.5k, a collapse in organic transaction demand. Only 58.5% of supply is in profit, the lowest since November 2024 despite a price about 4x higher, so late buyers dominate. Bitcoin and crypto have largely failed to evolve beyond vehicles for speculation after about 15 years, as @kingtutcap argues. Its digital gold role has been inconsistent, since it trades like a risk asset in panics rather than a safe haven, and most coins offer little beyond hopes of selling to someone else at a higher price. Bitcoin is closer to speculation than investment because it produces nothing. Even if it becomes the dominant currency, stocks, real estate and business profits would simply be priced in it, so owning productive assets captures value whatever the world's currency.
