Nebius's share count rose 18% year over year against IREN's 51%, the highest in the table and, in this view, not put to good use. Nebius looks cheaper against a year of stronger execution, leaving room for its shares to rise. EV/current ARR fell from 57x to 14x as quarterly revenue rose from $105M to $582M and adjusted EBITDA moved from -$21M to +$236M. Nebius is best positioned for the AI infrastructure boom because its roughly 400% revenue growth and strong execution accompany the least leverage among its peers. It is the neocloud pick by a mile: CoreWeave and Oracle are overleveraged, while IREN looks inferior and unproven. x.comÂ
IREN might be exposed to a Microsoft capacity-delivery delay. Microsoft said some third-party GPU-as-a-service contracts have been delayed to the second half of FY27, while RHouse Research asked which neocloud committed to deliver capacity in Q4 2026. IREN's $363 million in GPU-backed financing makes it a bet to survive neocloud consolidation. Elon Musk warned that drying debt markets could kill or consolidate many of the 200-plus neoclouds, leaving only a few survivors; IREN secured funding in that very market. x.comÂ
Nebius's projected growth makes its simplified valuation around $135 very interesting. Estimates are easily around $13 billion in 2027 and $27 billion in 2028, with roughly 7x 2027 EV/EBITDA at that share price. Company-specific factors also appeal. x.comÂ
CoreWeave's heavy debt and negative free cash flow heighten the risk that neocloud contract growth will not fund expansion. It has $104.2B in backlog against $35.6B in debt and negative $5.74B quarterly free cash flow; Nebius has over $40B in contracts but $5.7B quarterly capex and customer-concentration risk.
