Netflix's earnings growth cannot keep relying on price increases or a one-time ad-tier rollout when future ad growth depends on impressions. The password-sharing crackdown, ad tier and repeated price hikes amid declining time spent signal a mature business; podcasts and live sports look like attempts to find another growth leg. Financing risk makes AI-linked growth stocks unattractive to add here. Much of the money reaching suppliers such as Nvidia and Micron is financed, so harder funding would limit spending on chips, compute and memory. The buildout is not over, but stock prices could remain suppressed until it slows. A significant drawdown would make adding appealing; for many high-beta names with weak fundamentals and balance sheets, the highs look to be in. x.comÂ

Micron's profits could fall fast if memory prices weaken; SanDisk's earnings could suffer if NAND pricing turns despite booming AI demand. Netflix is not that cheap despite its collapsing stock price and lowest forward P/E in years. At about 20x forward earnings, with EPS growth driven mostly by buybacks, it trades at a 1 PEG, which is not compelling for low double-digit growth. There are better opportunities elsewhere. x.comÂ
Rapid revenue growth against forward valuations makes Nvidia and Micron additional calculated risks after the selloff, alongside Meta, Broadcom, IREN, Vistra, Nokia and Oracle. Nvidia grew revenue 106% and guides Q3 to $108B, plus or minus 2%, at 17.5x forward earnings; Micron grew revenue 379% to $54.2B, guides $61.5B next quarter and trades at 5x. Netflix at 33x is too expensive for 16% revenue growth after an extremely ugly quarter. It missed its EPS guide and guided lower, is about to test short-form video, which says a lot about organic growth concerns, and its founder is leaving.
