Tesla's growing autonomy usage strengthens its case as one of the best plays on autonomous vehicles, robotics, EVs and energy. Q3 FSD subscriptions rose 67% year over year and robotaxi miles increased eightfold quarter over quarter; revenue was $28.05B and EPS of $0.48 beat expectations. FSD subscriptions are starting to contribute to revenue, though still relatively little. Licensing FSD to other automakers could expand the opportunity if it happens. x.com  x.com 

TSLL fails to deliver 2x Tesla's return in every positive-return scenario at Tesla's historical volatility. The fund's prospectus table, mapping stock return against volatility over one year, shows that at Tesla's 67% five-year volatility a 60% gain in Tesla yields just 45.9% from the fund, not the 120% investors expect. Across those combinations, holders should expect less than 2x roughly 58% of the time, getting the leverage when they least want it. x.com 

Tesla's FSD uptake could add recurring software revenue to its vehicle base, while Robotaxi could earn on each ride. This could be Tesla's most important inflection point, missed amid weak auto profits. North American attach rates rose to 75% from 55% in Q2; subscriptions hit 1.74 million, up 67% year over year, and Cybercab rides began in Austin. Trials may not become lasting paid subscriptions; Robotaxi needs safe operation, steady paying demand and attractive returns at scale. x.com 

Tesla's growing Cybercab robotaxi registrations set up the next burn for short sellers. Texas registrations rose by 81 today to 544, per the state registry data shown in the chart. x.com 

Tesla's 2x leveraged ETF TSLL is not advisable to hold for extended periods, unlike Tesla shares, because daily resets and volatility decay can make it underperform badly even if Tesla recovers. Its weekly chart keeps forming lower highs and lower lows, a clear downtrend, while whale accumulation has dropped sharply as large players cut exposure. If it fails to hold support near $7, the next meaningful support is $6.00-6.20. x.com 

Tesla's falling energy and storage revenue undercuts what bulls call its next growth case. In Q3, that revenue fell 16% year over year; auto revenue fell 3%, operating income 56%, GAAP net income 43%, GAAP EPS 44% and free cash flow 62%. Tesla's falling automotive revenue and shrinking energy business undermine its growth-company case. In Q3 2026, automotive revenue fell 3% year over year and energy revenue fell 16%; operating margin was 2.6%, and revenue missed expectations. These numbers are pathetic even for a mature business and embarrassing for a growth darling. Tesla's stronger gross margin and automotive revenue suggest its car business is healthier than bears expected. Gross margin was 19.6% versus 17.8% expected; automotive revenue beat by over $700M, following 486,532 deliveries versus roughly 462,000 expected. Total revenue missed slightly, likely outside autos.
