Intuitive Machines is the listed company most directly tied to NASA's nuclear-powered Mars ship, Space Reactor-1 Freedom. The ship's core power and propulsion element was built by Lanteris Space Systems, which Intuitive Machines acquired this year, and it has begun a first NASA contract to reconfigure that Gateway module for SR-1.
