Astera Labs is an invisible hero of AI, as its retimers and fabric switches let thousands of GPUs operate as one massive supercomputer. Demand for its solutions has grown manyfold over the past year, driving explosive revenue growth, despite last year's fears that efficient models like DeepSeek would hurt AI infrastructure names. x.com
Astera Labs is a misunderstood AI infrastructure winner because the next AI bottleneck is connectivity, not just compute. Its PCIe, CXL, Ethernet and UALink products and software let accelerators, memory, storage and fabric work as one rack-scale system, so its value grows as racks get denser and clusters larger. Design wins are converting into sales: Q1 2026 revenue of $308.4 million rose 93% year on year and beat estimates by 5%, while EPS of $0.61 beat by 13%. x.com x.com
Astera Labs looks relatively expensive because similarly fast-growing AI infrastructure names trade at much lower multiples. Broadcom and Nvidia are at 14x, Credo at 15x and Lumentum at 18x; comparable peers look 50-80% cheaper. Astera is a great company and not necessarily expensive in absolute terms. Its roughly 2x multiple over Credo may persist, but the setup looks harder; with no valuation support, it could fall 50% if weakness continues. x.com x.com x.com x.com
Astera Labs is becoming an indispensable bottleneck for scaling next-generation AI clusters, setting up a long-term rerating. Q2 revenue of $392M beat, gross margin expanded to 74% and operating income reached $154M as hyperscalers deploy PCIe 6 retimers and rack-scale fabric. Q3 revenue guidance of $550M far exceeds the $417M expected, with operating income of $238M, confirming accelerating momentum. x.com
Astera Labs' chip connects every GPU in AI servers, positioning it to ride a data-center buildout that is just getting started. Quarterly revenue reached $392 million in Q2 2026, versus $65 million in Q1 2024. x.com
Astera Labs is an amazing business, but its valuation is getting quite pricey. x.com
Astera Labs gains as AI clusters grow from hundreds to tens of thousands of chips, because that scale demands the high-bandwidth, low-latency interconnect it sells. Its PCIe, CXL, fabric switching and optical products serve hyperscalers and GPU and TPU accelerators, with deep ties to Nvidia, Microsoft and Amazon. The Scorpio line is moving into smart fabrics, opening a merchant scale-up market projected at $20B by 2030, and hyperscaler orders and design wins make revenue highly predictable. … Show more
The market is lagging badly on CXL demand for Astera Labs and Marvell. The next two quarters for both companies will show just how demanding the industry has already become. x.com
Astera Labs carries a huge premium for flawless execution against a CXL market that is small near term. Switch-based CXL memory pooling capturing $15-16B in 2026-2028 is low probability: Marvell guides its XConn switch business to only about $100M by fiscal 2028, PCIe included. Pooling software likely stays immature into 2028, per a Samsung white paper, and Nvidia is contesting the warm KV-cache tier. Astera does CXL best, but SK hynix and Micron offer better risk-adjusted returns. x.com x.com
Astera Labs is positioned to benefit from the next breakout in AI infrastructure because memory is becoming the biggest problem for hyperscalers, and Astera can deliver major improvements and efficiency gains there. The stock has been incredibly strong and is forming a tight flag; a break should bring $400 soon. x.com x.com x.com
