Rigetti Computing and Infleqtion are too speculative to own because neither has a moat yet. Bernstein flags both as high risk-reward quantum plays, but its own note says it is far too early to declare a winner and that different modalities have distinct strengths, so a new architecture could make their hardware obsolete. Q2 revenue was $13.5M, 2026 guidance was raised to about $43M, it holds a $20M NASA contract for a space gravity sensor, and it is debt-free with hundreds of millions in cash. Infleqtion's target of 100 logical qubits by 2028, the threshold Bain and McKinsey tie to practical quantum advantage, could turn it from a sensing business into a full quantum computing platform. Today it guides $40 million of 2026 revenue, holds $569 million of cash with no debt, and gets 85% of revenue from government customers. Management raised 2026 revenue guidance to at least $40 million from $32.5 million in 2025, helped by delivering a 100-qubit system to the UK.
