Fluence faces a material short-term overhang after management made about 117.7 million shares eligible for shelf-registered resale. The 20 million-share offering is an unlock and transfer, not dilution, but it leaves roughly 97 million more shares able to be sold, expanding the float and adding selling pressure. Eos Energy, Fluence and FuelCell Energy are best avoided because capital-intensive energy technology requires super-high capex. These small companies have no way to compete with industrial giants that have far greater borrowing power. Bloom Energy is the exception, with lower capitalization and a unique product delivered within 60-90 days of contract signing. x.com 

Fluence's 5% gross margin was disappointing but stemmed from delays, so the revenue should come back after it spent money it could not recognize this quarter.
