Revenue went from $229 million in 2023 to $5.1 billion in 2025, effectively a different company and the fastest any cloud provider has reached $5 billion a year. CoreWeave's pricing power is overlooked amid financing fears, making it potentially the most misunderstood AI stock right now. It had over $104B in Q2 backlog and signed $25B in net new commitments over six weeks. Short-term contracts approach $40M per MW annually versus about $7M on active capacity, but that rate cannot be applied fleetwide. A $4.2B convertible carried a 2.875% coupon despite near-15% unsecured bond yields; $35B debt, dilution and capacity-conversion risks remain. x.com
CoreWeave can deliver its return within months, once the market starts valuing the business beyond the next five years. Its signed $125 billion backlog will flow through over that period, and while debt will exceed $60 billion, that problem is widely known and already priced in. Backlog stands at $104.2 billion, more than $25 billion of new customer commitments were added in Q3, Q3 revenue guidance is $3.45-3.60 billion, and full-year guidance was raised to $12.4-13.2 billion. x.com
CoreWeave's stock may already reflect much of its real financing risk amid extreme pessimism. Its unsecured bonds yield distressed rates and CDS spreads have surged, while Q2 net interest expense was $640M and 2026 capex guidance is $35–39B. Q2 revenue was $2.58B with about $104B of backlog, but whether that demand yields shareholder value after financing, depreciation and reinvestment remains uncertain; attractive financing is central to the case. x.com
CoreWeave faces about $5B of initial selling pressure as it raises new financing, looking into short-term leases for the first time.
