Bloom Energy is a flows story masquerading as fundamentals, and the Russell rebalance is an identifiable catalyst within a month. At about 4% of the Russell, it faces heavy selling when it gets kicked out of the small-cap index. Bloom Energy is a cyclical, so a growth multiple does not fit it. Peak EPS is maybe $15, and at 10x that implies about $150, the value it will revert to once growth stops accelerating. Bloom Energy could look cheap if it hits its revenue targets amid exploding demand for on-site power. Revenue is projected at $4.5B in 2026 and $16B by 2029, implying 3.5x 2029 sales at a $56B market cap. It should offer no gains for the next 12–18 months while it consolidates and digests that move, before probably breaking to new highs in 2028 or later.
