ETH's return to $2,700 bears out the bottom call, because holders concentrated at $2,700–2,800 kept holding instead of becoming sell pressure. About 13.38M ETH now sits in that band, 380,000 more than two months ago, creating favorable conditions for the recovery. From $2,700 to $3,000 a large amount of supply flips from unrealized loss to profit, so that band should be fairly strong resistance, and whale behavior will largely shape what follows. x.com
Ethereum's hardest days look over, and its ratio to bitcoin should soon return to 0.04 from about 0.032. Exchange ETH flows are rising relative to BTC; the last peak in that ratio, in early August 2025, preceded ETH/BTC topping at 0.042 a month later. ETH is undervalued because collateral and staking create demand L1 fees miss. Aave V3 has 2.2M WETH supplied and 1.75M borrowed on Ethereum. Yet Base reportedly paid Ethereum ~$15K for September data publishing versus $711K to the Optimism Collective, showing weak L1 capture. Absolute stablecoin growth matters more than share, but is not itself ETH demand.
