Applying the roughly 18 times chipmakers usually get to mid-cycle earnings of $2.99 a share puts fair value at about $47.30 to $60.20, though it trades at 24 times current earnings and trailing and forward estimates differ by 52%, making it a wide case. Management is shifting capacity from autos to AI, utilization rose from 77% to 83% with most of the margin benefit due in Q4 and 2027, a second round of price increases is holding, and lead times stretched to 32 weeks with visibility into 2027-2028.
