Ideal Power could re-rate sharply because its solid-state bidirectional switches let power flow both ways between the grid and facility-level energy storage, and it is the highest-conviction name of its size. Ideal Power's 800V data-center case gains a named commercial partner in Lazzen, which is building B-TRAN-enabled products for AI data centers. Navitas being selected by the US Army to develop next-generation 10kV silicon carbide power semiconductors could open new markets. As the military builds domestic manufacturing and validation capacity, the project, if it progresses, would strengthen Navitas's credentials in high-voltage SiC and defense and help open defense, grid and data-center high-voltage power markets. The stock still does not look expensive and is rebounding off a major weekly trendline, which looks very bullish. x.com 

Aixtron's indium phosphide business is grossly under-modeled, as MOCVD machines may become the gating factor for scaling co-packaged optics. It holds 90%+ share in InP, a rare monopoly in optics and power chips. GaN and SiC markets will reach tens of billions and capacity will run out once new data centers adopt 800V DC, so even a fraction of that in MOCVD demand means billions of revenue for a $6 billion company. Navitas is the highest-beta standalone pure play on gallium nitride for the shift to 800V DC data centers. It pivoted from consumer GaN chargers, where it was losing share to cheap Chinese rivals, to higher-margin AI data-center solid-state transformers, where it is seen as the default GaN supplier, even ahead of Infineon. An acquisition two years ago added credible silicon carbide capability. Execution risk is high for a small company making such a concentrated bet. x.com
