Bitcoin fills the gap in a new monetary regime where debt has to inflate while AI has to deflate. The debt system needs inflation because its obligations are nominal, so a shrinking denominator makes them heavier. AI keeps pushing the cost of making things toward zero, but the fiat unit can't let prices fall. Bitcoin is the one asset built so that abundance in production doesn't require abundance in money. Bitcoin's valuation looks stretched relative to network use, raising the risk of selling pressure. Its market value has risen faster than active addresses, lifting the NVM ratio while address activity has not kept up with price.
