Tempus AI's diagnostics-to-data-to-AI flywheel makes its roughly 7.2x forward sales interesting, about half Natera's and Guardant's 16x, though both grow faster. Q2 revenue rose 22% to $382.5M, Data Licensing & Modeling grew 36%, and 2026 guidance is about $1.6B of revenue and $65M of adjusted EBITDA. It holds 45 million de-identified patient records and 500+ petabytes of clinical data, partners with AstraZeneca, GSK and Merck, and has FDA approval for its xT CDx test. Tempus AI's growth story has become a real one, with Q2 revenue up 22% to $382.5 million, positive net income and EBITDA, a 73.5% gross margin and $816 million of cash. Its $1.5 billion Personalis deal owns the sequencing technology behind the Moderna-Merck mRNA cancer vaccine, whose strong Phase 3 melanoma results validated the bet. Piper Sandler upgraded it to Overweight with a $76 target, up from $56, citing Personalis and strong INTerpath-001 MRD data. $80 is support for the breakout. x.com 

Hims & Hers' compounding direct-to-consumer distribution makes it stupidly undervalued next to Tempus AI. Hims has $2.6B in trailing revenue at a $6.7B market cap, with 66.5% annual revenue growth from Q3 2021 to Q2 2026; Tempus has $1.4B in revenue, a $14.9B market cap and 40.4% annual growth. x.com 

Tempus AI may go lower near term because of valuation, leadership reputation and insider selling, despite an amazing business. With about 25% growth expected and profitability uncertain, it is not obviously cheap. Glassdoor reviews matter in medicine's high-trust setting, and ongoing insider sales echo founder patterns that ended badly. The data piece, about 5% of market cap, can earn a high multiple, so the stock looks reasonably priced if adoption continues. x.com 

Tempus AI's new pharma contracts put cash payments behind its data and AI platform, beyond diagnostics. Bristol Myers Squibb renewed and expanded oncology-data and Lens access for $137.5M in fixed payments through 2031; Pathos agreed to pay up to $55M for 500,000 neurology records and updates over five years, depending on delivery. Together the deals total up to $192.5M, meaningful validation though not an enormous sum. x.com
