CoreWeave rents Nvidia GPUs at scale to everyone building AI, giving it pure leverage to AI demand. x.comÂ

CoreWeave looks positioned to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of years of demand for GPU computing at scale. It should be one of the most important players in the AI infrastructure buildout, with Jensen Huang and Nvidia deeply tied to it. At $50 a share, its debt load is not a concern; the stock could look like one of the best buying opportunities by decade-end. x.com x.comÂ
Rising GPU rental rates and Anthropic's compute margins challenge claims of collapsing demand for CoreWeave's capacity. The WSJ reported Anthropic's first-half revenue of $16.3B against $9B in compute and infrastructure spending; Bloomberg reported its Q3 compute margin above 40%. Long contracts and fully amortizing loans cushion demand declines but cap upside. Despite the challenging neocloud model, CoreWeave's risk/reward is by far the best and its quality well ahead of peers. x.com x.com … Show more
CoreWeave may run out of financing before it can access GPUs under contract in about four years. If it cannot pay Nvidia, share sales are its remaining option until investors see no path to payment and the stock collapses. GPU-backed loans are no longer available even with customer backing; bankruptcy is forecast for Q3 2027 based on its books. x.com x.com x.comÂ
CoreWeave is riding overwhelming, accelerating demand for AI compute, and investors are starting to realize it, sending the shares up 34% in a week. The WSJ reports that demand for agentic AI has exploded and companies are scrambling to secure computing capacity. Hourly GPU rental prices have surged since the fall, with spot prices for Nvidia GPUs up sharply across its product line, per data provider Ornn. x.comÂ
CoreWeave is a major winner of the AI infrastructure supercycle as a first mover in GPU deployment with an exclusive AI focus. Long-term deals with OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta and Microsoft should drive 60%, 56% and 47% of 2026-28 revenue, forecast to rise from $12.3B to $25.6B and $39.6B, with adjusted EBITDA rising from $7.6B to $18.8B. Rising GPU rental prices, lower financing costs and maturing contracts should lift profitability. Buy, with a $162 target on 10x 2028 EV/EBITDA. x.comÂ
CoreWeave's need for its vendor Nvidia to buy its stock and backstop its unused capacity puts both its pricing power and compute scarcity in question, per a Jim Chanos piece. Nvidia has also funded OpenAI, in effect financing CoreWeave's customer as well. x.comÂ
CoreWeave may have a downside backstop because Nvidia needs a competing neocloud ecosystem on its stack as hyperscalers and leading frontier labs shift spending toward custom ASICs. The personal bet is that Nvidia would step in if CoreWeave gets into trouble. Bernstein thinks intervention in a true downside would raise the floor, though not necessarily re-energize the stock. x.comÂ
CoreWeave's GPU- and contract-backed borrowing reduces financing risk, making it an extremely bullish investment. Its March $8.5B Meta-backed facility had a fixed-rate tranche at 5.9%; a 15% bond yield is not its borrowing rate. Its $130B backlog helps it secure cheaper capital. It is seeking insurer financing and evaluating Nvidia's $500B program, which would backstop up to 25% of qualifying deals against GPU residual-value risk. x.com x.comÂ
CoreWeave's financing looks more vulnerable amid a debt-market pullback for AI-data-center-dependent companies. Elon Musk says access has almost entirely shut off in recent weeks for firms without substantial revenue outside AI data centers, and expects few of the 200-plus neoclouds to survive consolidation. x.comÂ
CoreWeave benefits because demand for compute is growing faster than capacity can be brought online. x.comÂ
