Uranium Royalty is a royalty play on a widening uranium supply deficit. Q1 FY2027 net profit hit a record $16.3 million, with EPS of $0.10, double the $0.05 expected. Benchmark Mineral Intelligence sees this year's mine-supply deficit widening to 18% of demand in 2027, and UROY holds royalties on McArthur River and Cigar Lake. It runs the only licensed and operating uranium mill in the US and the only facility able to produce separated rare earths domestically. Uranium miners capture fuel demand from the AI data center nuclear buildout regardless of which SMR developer survives. Hyperscalers need clean 24/7 power, and small modular reactors are the only design that can sit next to a data center; once plants are built, uranium demand comes first.
