Energy Fuels is the critical-minerals play as the US needs domestic uranium and rare-earth supply while nuclear demand accelerates globally. It runs the only licensed and operating uranium mill in the US and the only facility able to produce separated rare earths domestically. Ur-Energy is executing on schedule as it becomes a two-mine uranium producer, the cleanest kind of bullish. Its first shipment from Shirley Basin to the Lost Creek plant on August 19 put the second Wyoming mine into full operations, as management signaled on the Q2 call. Shirley Basin adds up to 2.0 million pounds of licensed capacity, for 4.2 million pounds across both sites. Uranium Royalty is a royalty play on a widening uranium supply deficit. Q1 FY2027 net profit hit a record $16.3 million, with EPS of $0.10, double the $0.05 expected. Benchmark Mineral Intelligence sees this year's mine-supply deficit widening to 18% of demand in 2027, and UROY holds royalties on McArthur River and Cigar Lake.
