Q3 2026 revenue rose 14% to $9.8 billion, adjusted EPS rose 21% to $5.31, and adjusted operating margin was 60.5%. AI agents will erode credit card banks' pricing power. Since the GFC, uncompetitive card issuers have raised rates disproportionately in hiking cycles and barely cut them in easing cycles. Agents will let uninformed consumers refinance at much lower rates and make card points costlier as consumers optimize rewards. SoFi's fee growth and improving credit support its Q3 triple beat. Revenue was $1.39B vs $1.26B expected, EPS 18 cents vs 17, membership 17.1M, and guidance rose. Interchange fees grew 77% year on year, brokerage fees 47%; personal-loan net charge-offs fell to 2.26%. The guide assumes two more rate hikes this year; one looks plausible, not two, leaving upside. Capital One is making the same argument for subprime auto loans that was made for mortgages in 2007. It says it is not worried about lending to subprime borrowers because repayment terms can stretch to 10 years, lowering payment-to-income ratios so low-wage consumers can afford $100k vehicles. x.com

Q3 originations hit $16.9B; estimated all-in annualized personal-loan charge-offs, excluding delinquent sales, fell 80 bps YoY to 3.4%. Fee revenue hit $571M, or 42% of total. Billed business rose 8% and adjusted EPS rose 13%; the new $17.60-$17.90 full-year adjusted EPS range implies 14-16% growth.
