ASPs still rise but more slowly, and 83-85% margin guidance after 84.6% suggests a plateau. Long-term deals with 8 customers cover over half of FY2027 bits and about two-thirds of FY2028 at around 80% margins, trading upside for certainty. Rosenblatt initiated at Buy with a $2,400 target, about 8x its FY30 EPS estimate of $300, which it calls conservative. SanDisk's gross-margin plateau signals long-term discipline, not the cycle peak bears fear. Not squeezing customers, plus balanced capex under its NBM long-term agreement model, avoids overinvesting at the top. Investors should watch volume, not price: while big tech keeps spending and compute stays scarce, memory shortages cannot ease alone, so rising volume and the LTA price floor should grow the profit pool enormously.
