IREN's near-term growth is largely locked in, so Anthropic is not needed to justify it. It targets $4B+ ARR by end-2026, roughly 85% contracted through Microsoft and NVIDIA. Its 800 MW Bundey campus is shortlisted for Anthropic's 1.4 GW Australian tender, but deals and infrastructure take time. An Anthropic win would be the next leg and could be a much better deal than with OpenAI, given Anthropic's ~$65B run rate versus OpenAI's ~$40B and its first positive adjusted operating profit. x.com

IREN's $363 million in GPU-backed financing makes it a bet to survive neocloud consolidation. Elon Musk warned that drying debt markets could kill or consolidate many of the 200-plus neoclouds, leaving only a few survivors; IREN secured funding in that very market. x.com
