No rocket or space company anywhere makes money, making the 'space is the future' investment pitch a bad bet. SpaceX is shown at -$4.9B; Rocket Lab, AST SpaceMobile, Intuitive Machines, Firefly Aerospace and Planet Labs also have negative figures, ranging from -$131.20M to -$618.76M. x.com
Virgin Galactic has become a Reddit favourite on confusion rather than fundamentals: buyers trying to get into the SpaceX IPO end up in the stock instead. Every meme stock ends the same way. x.com
Virgin Galactic has fallen far enough that its chart is signaling a turn before the crowd notices, with SpaceX's IPO in three weeks the biggest catalyst commercial space has ever had. A weekly Score 2 buy signal printed at $3.24 after two bull divergences stacked from $2.40, and volume and institutional flow came back. Whether it pays off depends on execution and a market willing to dream again; it is only a bet. x.com
Virgin Galactic's squeeze is playing with fire that could turn into a blaze. Per Stocktwits, the stock is up 120% this week, including 22% pre-market, on speculation that people will think they're investing in SpaceX. x.com
Lucid is a capital-burning machine with no sign of turning around, and its latest update does nothing to ease bankruptcy concerns. Free cash flow is negative $2.9 billion so far this year, accumulated losses total $17.6 billion, and the burn keeps growing. Lucid cites organizational changes, leadership transitions and $1.4 billion of identified 2026 cash-flow improvements, which are long overdue. x.com x.com x.com x.com x.com x.com
Virgin Galactic is a high-risk bet with extreme asymmetry: at a roughly $190M market cap, any real revenue changes everything. It reopened ticket sales at $750K, validating premium demand, with Spaceship 1 testing in April, a second ship completed and commercial cadence building. About 400 flights a year would imply roughly $300M of revenue. Risks are real: about $338M of cash against a $90-95M quarterly burn, plus execution risk and delays. If it works, it will reprice sharply. x.com
Lucid is effectively at zero and headed for bankruptcy because its Saudi backers have stopped funding it. Uber's $300M investment in Lucid is now worth zero as well. A Zerohedge headline notes Lucid says AlixPartners has not recommended bankruptcy. x.com x.com
Rocket Lab, AST SpaceMobile and Intuitive Machines are priced as if they had already colonized the solar system, so they look headed one way once the hype rally ends. Together they carry an $82 billion market cap on $883 million of revenue and no profits, while burning cash heavily. Reusable rockets are a cost-reduction story rather than a giant leap. Their long-term potential may be real, but that future is 20-30 years out and does not justify today's valuations. x.com x.com x.com x.com x.com … Show more

Voyager Technologies is a cheap picks-and-shovels play on the new space economy through its propulsion and electronic systems. It grew 54% in Q1 and trades at only about 4x forward sales with over 50% growth, one of the cheapest space plays, and a recent acquisition should expand its space presence. It is a smaller speculative position whose story could just be starting if the space theme works out. x.com
