Ambarella is one of only a couple of Western merchant suppliers of low-power edge AI vision chips and the one selling into robotics today; its lock is software, since CVflow stacks get designed in years before volume and nobody re-qualifies a vision pipeline mid-program. Infineon, STMicroelectronics and NXP have little value upside left from humanoid robotics after rallying hard on the AI datacenter theme. Nokia's AI and cloud orders are set to turn into revenue, with about half of Q2's EUR 2.8B intake expected to convert over the next 12 months. Its San Jose fab ramps in Q4, Pennsylvania test and packaging capacity expands 10x from Q3, and an NXP Chandler fab lease for indium phosphide chips starts in early 2027, all for demand expected in 2027-28. Analog and power semiconductor stocks such as ON Semiconductor, Texas Instruments and NXP are pricing far ahead of their fundamentals. If cars are becoming computers on wheels, analog chipmakers such as Texas Instruments and Analog Devices stand to sell a good chunk of the technology without bearing the still-uncertain risk of fully autonomous driving. Navitas Semiconductor's GaN chips address the power bottleneck in AI data centers, where rising GPU power draw has pushed silicon power chips to their physical limits. Its CEO puts GaN's design value at $10,000-$15,000 per MW, and high-power market revenue rose 35% year over year in Q1. After a brutal 2025 of weak consumer demand, dilution and losses, the Navitas 2.0 pivot and Q1's return to sequential growth suggest the worst is over, with its AI power line moving into system validation. x.com

Power semiconductors should deliver index-beating returns, though the trade is not early and the easy money was made long ago. The power-semi revenue cycle already started last year, and the ecosystem is broad enough that the whole sector should do well. STMicroelectronics and Infineon are the buys. x.com
