Google TPU adoption could broaden the AI hardware opportunity beyond Nvidia, with demand reaching custom ASICs, HBM, packaging, optics and testing. Apple's preliminary deal to build chips on 18A-P, Google's reported 3M+ TPU orders through 2028 and its role as primary foundry for Elon Musk's TerraFab support that, alongside government and Nvidia stakes. Intel is overvalued after running up about 5x from $20, with more capex, low operating margins and a run-up driven largely by Trump's promotion rather than fundamentals. TSMC earns over 30% operating margins and is ahead of schedule in Arizona, so Intel has no US fab monopoly. Google Cloud rose 103% to $30.7B, with backlog reportedly $561B; UBS models more than double TPU shipments in 2027. Micron should be up double digits on this, not down 5%. TSMC sits at the end of the money trail as agentic AI reprices the chip supply chain, and Google's $40 billion Anthropic deal is the clearest proof. NVIDIA and Intel face a constraint money cannot fix, the time needed to turn capital into physical capacity. NVIDIA's MOUs with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR to mobilize $500B+ make GPUs collateral, but token revenue, CUDA longevity and fungibility are also failure modes, and MOUs are not money. Only ~5 GW of ~12 GW of 2026 US AI capacity is under construction, with interconnection taking 4–7 years. Intel's $15B raise buys fabs that take 3–5 years. x.com 

Intel is scaling its foundry turnaround with 18A in high-volume production and yields ahead of plan. Q2 revenue rose 25% to $16.1B, with Panther Lake on 18A. 14A risk production is set for the second half of 2027 and high-volume ramps for 2028, and two prospective 14A customers will decide between the second half of 2026 and the first half of 2027.
