Critical Metals' Tanbreez project now has a formally approved mine plan, advancing its rare-earth supply case. Greenland's September 29 approval runs through 2050; Tanbreez holds its only rare-earth exploitation permit, and a refinery study projects $1.8–2.2B in annual revenue. Critical Metals is an under-followed pure-play on heavy rare earths, which the West cannot supply at scale. China refines nearly all the dysprosium and terbium that stop EV-motor and missile magnets from melting, and a new mine takes 5-7 years to permit. Its Greenland Tanbreez deposit is among the biggest outside China, with multi-year upside if financed into production. It is pre-revenue, so slipping financing or permitting would cut it hard; an early-stage bet, not a core hold. x.com

Greenland Energy, at about a $100 million market cap, has good odds of actually making money, unlike Critical Metals at about $1.4 billion. European Lithium is still mispriced relative to its merger with Critical Metals, even after the 30% share-price arbitrage gap. Factoring in the 34% of Critical Metals shares being cancelled gives European Lithium a fair value of $0.58 versus $0.31 now. x.com 

Rare earth and critical mineral names MP Materials, Energy Fuels, Critical Metals and United States Antimony have pulled back into a good buying zone after a big run, as attention shifts toward physical AI and robots. The Trump sons just invested in a tungsten company, and SemiAnalysis is flagging how important rare earths will be over the next few years. They remain weak short term. The pact covers military access; drilling needs a separate Greenland permit, now targeted for winter 2027. Every robot, drone and EV motor needs NdFeB magnets; China controls over 90% of refined supply and about 92% of separated NdPr, and nearly monopolizes the heavy rare earths that let magnets survive motor heat.
