KEEL is not a buy right now: today's tech weakness, plus profits that would only arrive in 2028, argue for waiting despite the company's interesting move. x.comÂ

Keel Infrastructure keeps offering reasons for having no lease deals, and its story of waiting to make more money later looks weak and potentially dishonest. Keel's CEO has said since early 2025 that it would sign leases closer to power deployment to avoid long-lead discounts, but there are plenty of deals to ink now, and CoreWeave and Nebius have take-or-pay contracts lined up for years. Keel can still sign deals, and maybe it will, but CoreWeave offers the visibility it lacks. x.com x.com … Show more
Keel Infrastructure's management is not at the level of the best companies in the space, and management is the most important variable. Most of these companies' value lies in future plans, not existing power assets, so being elite at securing power, deals and financing drives stock performance. CleanSpark has power assets and a Meta deal yet has not seen the AI pump others have, and the same could happen to Keel. x.comÂ
KeelPoint looks undervalued, and insiders have been buying a lot of the stock recently. x.com x.comÂ
Keel Infrastructure looks expensive at $3.57, about 20% above the top of a $2.35-$2.98 fair-value range. The company, which runs digital and energy infrastructure for HPC and AI workloads, trades at 13.4x EV/sales with forward EPS of -$0.24. These are valuation levels from reported earnings and revenue estimates, not fundamental work, and the stock would be outright expensive above $4.80. x.comÂ
Keel Infrastructure's rally shows the market crowning it the next Hut 8 before it has any AI business, a sign of late entrants to the AI race and of where the cycle stands. The stock is up over 200% in two months without a single lease, megawatt of AI capacity or dollar of AI revenue. Keel also sold 269 bitcoin for $20 million to maintain liquidity, alongside closing a $458 million convertible notes offering. x.comÂ
Keel Infrastructure looks likely to announce a deal within the next few weeks, which makes it a speculative gamble. x.comÂ
Keel Infrastructure has no signed hyperscaler lease, so it must fund its pre-lease buildout with expensive convertibles and ATM equity, and every dilutive dollar raised before a lease comes out of the bulls' 10x target. Cost of capital is the whole game, and the cheapest capital, debt against an investment-grade lease, only unlocks once a lease is signed. @CKCapitalxx's 10x math assumes $150-200 per kW per month, but DGXX's $190 rate only works for turnkey builds, not leasing a powered shell. … Show more
Keel Infrastructure's lease commitments, which would justify the stock, have slipped from a firm 2026 target to open-ended talks while its biggest site runs late. On the Q2 call CEO Gagnon would not reaffirm three signed leases this year when pressed by Northland and ATB analysts, citing only active negotiations at all three sites. Final permits for the 350 MW Panther Creek campus are taking months longer, and Moses Lake slipped a couple of months. Its secured 480 MW faces no policy risk. x.comÂ
Keel Infrastructure's expected data-center deals look set to land late in Q4 at best rather than within a couple of weeks, based on management's conference call. Expecting three deals imminently overstates the near-term timeline. x.comÂ
Indie Semiconductor is too early to buy because it probably won't ramp its highest-growth segments until 2028, though it remains interesting. x.comÂ
