Agility Robotics could go parabolic as the only US-listed humanoid pure play, valued at about $2.5B against an expected ~$40B opening for China's Unitree. Unitree's IPO was oversubscribed about 8,000 times, showing how badly retail wants humanoid exposure, and closing that valuation gap would be welcome. With the US-China rivalry, the US will not want to lose this race, which should bring capital into North American robotics. The SPAC merger carries higher risk and higher reward. x.comÂ
SEC clearance brings Agility Robotics closer to becoming the preferred publicly traded US humanoid pure play. Its merger registration is effective, and a shareholder vote around November 2 is estimated; the company expects a November close, subject to Churchill XI shareholder approval and customary conditions. Agility trails Unitree and others now, but its US focus and backing from Nvidia and Amazon remain appealing. x.com x.comÂ
Agility Robotics, via the Churchill Capital XI merger, is too early to own: it seeks a $2.5B valuation on an estimated $30-35M of trailing revenue. It is a really cool company, but no sure thing. x.comÂ
Unitree's 620% IPO debut gives humanoid robots their first public valuation benchmark, and Churchill Capital Corp XI, merging with Agility Robotics at a $2.5 billion pre-money valuation, offers the American equivalent at a fraction of it. Agility would be the only US-listed pure-play humanoid firm, with Digit deployed at Amazon, GXO, Toyota and Schaeffler and over $300 million in binding orders. Doubts remain: CCXI fell after the debut, and @amitisinvesting asks why Agility needs a hyped SPAC. … Show more
CCXI, the only public humanoid proxy, won't stay available near $12 a share for long after Agility Robotics unveiled Digit 5. The robot carries a 50 lb payload, about 40% more than Digit 4, runs 90 minutes on a 9-minute charge for 20+ productive hours a day, and is built to work safely alongside humans without cages. Agility has over $300M in multi-year customer orders and RoboFab capacity of up to 10,000 robots a year. x.comÂ
Agility Robotics' SPAC merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI is not the retail-access win it is sold as, because the venture returns are already gone. Amazon, SoftBank and Foxconn aren't new backers; they are rolling existing equity under a 180-day lockup. The $200M minimum cash condition signals that sponsors expect heavy redemptions rather than offering a safeguard. Public investors get the leftover risk without the leftover upside. x.com x.comÂ
Churchill Capital Corp XI, the vehicle for Agility Robotics, could get a second wind from the wildly oversubscribed Unitree IPO, with $20 a possible target. Nvidia, Amazon and SoftBank are among Agility's investors or partners. x.com x.comÂ
Agility Robotics' Digit 5 release widened its lead instead of sending it back to the drawing board. The bipedal shift more fully realizes Digit's pragmatic, work-focused design and opens a larger future market and better AI training. Safety, the true bottleneck for real deployment, is thoroughly integrated, while Figure, a $40B peer, lists only a battery safety standard. A two-quarter slip and no new orders aren't alarming given a large order book; undisclosed pricing is the main concern. x.com … Show more
Churchill Capital Corp XI, the SPAC merging with Agility Robotics, buys a story at a high multiple, not an easy investment. Agility's Digit humanoid is already deployed at Schaeffler, GXO, Toyota Manufacturing Canada and MercadoLibre, but revenue is undisclosed, opex nearly doubled to $111 million and it burned $102 million in 2025. At $10 a share the implied enterprise value is about $2.8 billion; after the run to about $17.40 it is about $5.3 billion. Blue-chip backing is not a thesis. x.com … Show more
UBTECH Robotics and XPeng look set to benefit from a rerating of Chinese robotics stocks heading into the Unitree IPO. US robotics names have already started to move while these Chinese names have not, leaving them as likely the biggest beneficiaries. XPeng is also a fairly de-risked bet, with hefty cash on its balance sheet and its entire robotics stack valued at essentially zero at current prices. x.comÂ
