Bloom Energy's results show hyperscalers paying for faster data-center power sooner than modeled. Bloom Energy's repeated revenue and EBITDA beats suggest its pullback will give way to another run soon. It raised 2026 guidance for the third time. Morgan Stanley raised its target to $335 and says Bloom targets revenue growth well above 100%, with backlog growing faster than sales and a path to more than 5 GW of capacity. x.com 

Bloom Energy's revenue is growing faster than cash collection. Q3 sales reached $1.24bn and the 2026 guide rose to $4.4-4.6bn, yet operating cash flow was -$27m despite $309m from customer deposits and deferred revenue. Contract assets rose $430m in the quarter and from $241m to $859m year to date. Its largest customer fell to 43% of revenue, but the second, at 26%, is a related party. Bloom Energy could look cheap if it hits its revenue targets amid exploding demand for on-site power. Revenue is projected at $4.5B in 2026 and $16B by 2029, implying 3.5x 2029 sales at a $56B market cap. Bloom Energy appears less capital intensive than other AI companies even while expanding capacity. It appears to have begun the year with $2.5 billion in cash and still has $2.5 billion despite spending on expansion. x.com 

Bloom Energy's demand may not become revenue when customers struggle to secure financing. Capital is difficult to raise in this climate; a reading of management's AI discussion also points to permitting, local opposition and customer credit as obstacles despite robust demand. Bloom Energy looks more appealing after beating earnings estimates by a wide margin while trading at about 55 times earnings near $200. The market paid $350 in June, but the company now earns far more than expected despite a 33% share-price drawdown. x.com 

Bloom Energy's fast on-site generation could earn a premium by shortening the wait for AI compute. Anthropic's S-1 says it may buy generation equipment above prevailing market rates if it can be deployed faster. Some planned Anthropic data centers rely on dedicated on-site gas generation, and it has committed to cover consumer power-price increases they cause. Bloom's pitch is power in months rather than years waiting for the grid. x.com 

Bloom Energy's fuel cells cost twice as much as alternative power sources and are less reliable. The product also comes straight out of China, undercutting its appeal. x.com 

Bloom Energy's speed to power matters because a gigawatt of AI capacity can generate roughly $40B in annual revenue, according to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. That revenue opportunity makes rapid deployment especially valuable for Bloom's power offering. x.com
