IREN's 5.8 GW power pipeline is increasingly valuable because Google is willing to lease third-party compute even at the expense of Cloud margins. Google's expected 8 GW of leased capacity by 2030 could support a major IREN contract, bringing customer prepayments and investment-grade debt backed by Google's creditworthiness to accelerate the remaining pipeline. x.com 

Microsoft's acceptance of Horizon 1, the first of four 50MW AI cloud deployments under IREN's five-year, $9.7B contract, is nice news for IREN. Per @wallstengine, the site runs Nvidia GB300 NVL72 systems and has Nvidia Exemplar Cloud status, Horizons 2-4 are due later this year, and IREN targets 480MW of AI cloud capacity in 2026 and 1.2GW in 2027. x.com 

IREN has repeatedly misled investors on Horizon 1's timing and economics. Announced in February 2025, it was said in August 2025 to be on track for 2025 delivery and in February 2026 to produce revenue in Q2-26, yet Microsoft only accepted delivery in August 2026. Capex guidance of $6–7M per MW became $14–16M per MW as IREN sells stock through its ATM. CoreWeave added 500MW of revenue-generating capacity in Q2-26 alone, versus IREN's 50MW in 18 months. x.com  x.com 

IREN's uncommitted future capacity lets it seek bigger customer prepayments if credit tightens. CoreWeave signed many contracts when funding was easier and, per its management, deprioritized prepayments in early 2026, leaving more capex to fund externally. IREN is nearly certain to get the Rubin GPUs Sweetwater needs: it is about a year away and was designed with Nvidia as a flagship Rubin deployment. Few AI infrastructure providers can deliver gigawatt-plus AI factories fast enough to meet the urgent need in BC and the rest of Canada, giving IREN room to scale there. Support from BC's new government and BC Hydro remains a hope. x.com 

IREN has questionable terminal value given its current focus on bare-metal compute. Nebius itself calls selling compute to hyperscalers a stop-gap model, and over half of its 2026 ARR will come from enterprises, AI labs and other non-hyperscalers likely to remain customers after the compute crunch eases. The market should be big enough for several providers to win, but bare-metal players like IREN, and to a lesser extent CoreWeave, look weaker over the long term. x.com 

Google's move to buy third-party compute amid supply constraints points to overflow demand for IREN's energized power and liquid-cooled NVIDIA capacity. Google says third-party usage began at the end of Q3 and will ramp in Q4; IREN also has a multi-GW development pipeline and fresh GPU financing. Extremely bullish. x.com 

IREN is one of the stocks set to make millionaires over the next three years because the AI buildout is just getting started; only 2% of US households pay for an AI subscription. IREN signed a $9.7 billion AI cloud contract with Microsoft, added customers such as Cohere and Perplexity, and has reached $4 billion in contracted ARR. It targets 0.8 GW of capacity by 2027, with a pipeline above 5 GW. x.com 

IREN's $3.1 billion of ARR under contract is too speculative to rely on. Per the company, it comprises expected average annual revenue of $1.9 billion from Microsoft and $0.7 billion from Nvidia plus $0.5 billion from Prince George GPU deployments, but includes amounts that earn nothing until GPUs are delivered, commissioned and in service. IREN says there is no assurance contracted GPUs will deliver those hours or prices, and actual revenue may vary materially. x.com
