It can shift capacity from unprofitable automotive to profitable cloud-provider work, and its silicon carbide also targets 800V. It is a rare fab with products at about 1.5x book, cheap because past profits were weak; earnings should improve as Chinese foundry costs have doubled. Management targeted about €300 million of silicon carbide revenue by 2026 and delivered essentially nothing, with most of that business going to Infineon. Navitas being selected by the US Army to develop next-generation 10kV silicon carbide power semiconductors could open new markets. As the military builds domestic manufacturing and validation capacity, the project, if it progresses, would strengthen Navitas's credentials in high-voltage SiC and defense and help open defense, grid and data-center high-voltage power markets. The stock still does not look expensive and is rebounding off a major weekly trendline, which looks very bullish. x.com
