Rigetti Computing and Infleqtion are too speculative to own because neither has a moat yet. Bernstein flags both as high risk-reward quantum plays, but its own note says it is far too early to declare a winner and that different modalities have distinct strengths, so a new architecture could make their hardware obsolete. Infleqtion already earns revenue from quantum sensing, with defense and other industrial uses, rather than relying on a quantum computing pipe dream. Its neutral-atom approach also needs fewer physical qubits to make the same number of logical qubits, giving better error correction. x.com 

Quantinuum's IPO adds yet another ridiculously valued company to the quantum sector rather than changing its dynamics. Comparing these companies on technology or business model is like counting angels on a pin. Even Infleqtion trades at 100x revenue and loses a dollar for every dollar of revenue it makes. x.com

Per the WSJ, the US government will grant $2B to nine quantum firms and take stakes, including $100M for Infleqtion.
