Revenue rose 42.8% to $406.8M on data-center and aerospace and defense demand, non-GAAP EPS jumped 80% to $0.27 with a 21% operating margin, and its network and service enablement segment grew 54.4% as Spirent contributes. Viavi Solutions can reach $90-$100 by 2028 as earnings scale and it keeps its rerating as an AI hardware enabler. It once traded at 13-16x forward earnings as slow-growth telecom instrumentation, but now trades near 38x 2027 estimates. Consensus non-GAAP EPS rises from about $0.94 in FY2026 to $1.83 by FY2028, and a bull case with stronger Spirent synergies reaches $2.25-$2.50. Optical test makers such as FormFactor, Aehr Test Systems and Viavi should keep growing whichever optical path wins, because every interconnect, pluggable, near-packaged or co-packaged, must be tested. Optical stocks plunged after a June report of CPO shipment delays, and engineers now point to a growing role for near-packaged optics and possible delays in some scale-up CPO. Viavi Solutions is one of the best ways to play co-packaged optics and photonics, and the dilution-driven dip is a good entry. Viavi is raising $500M to repay its $450M Term Loan B, about 2% dilution that cleans up the balance sheet, yet shares fell almost 6% after hours. At roughly 39x 2027 estimates it is cheap versus photonics and CPO peers, and fundamentally less risky. Keysight's gross margin expanding on fast revenue growth shows real chokepoint pricing power in AI test. Q3 FY26 gross margin reached about 69%, up roughly 140-150 bp from Q2's clean 67.6%, as revenue grew 36.5% to $1,846M; operating margin hit 33.2%, above its 31-32% long-term target. Orders rose 56% to $2,091M, though book-to-bill narrowed to 1.13, and Q4 EPS guidance of $3.34-3.40 tops the ~$2.68 consensus. Lumentum's CEO says it is effectively sold out through early 2029; Ciena says lead times limit growth, and Coherent cites constraints across nearly every product line. Applied Optoelectronics doubled its share count to expand capacity and meet demand.
