Power Integrations addresses the coming AI data-center power bottleneck, where the real alpha lies. Next-generation AI data centers are shifting to 800 VDC, and traditional silicon cannot handle the power density and heat of megawatt-scale racks. Power Integrations is working with Nvidia on that transition, and its 1250V and 1700V PowiGaN switches exceed 98% efficiency while cutting copper and board space. Despite the run, its repricing is in early innings as data-center revenue scales. x.comÂ
Power Integrations' GaN technology is locked into Nvidia's next-gen AI supply chain through its auxiliary power-supply designs for Nvidia's Kyber 800V DC liquid-cooled racks, where its high-voltage GaN chips deliver high efficiency in a tiny footprint. Its 1250V and 1700V devices from the Odyssey deal are gaining traction in industrial drives, 800V EVs and solar inverters. With its consumer business recovering from a cyclical bottom, earnings recovery plus an AI re-rating set up a double play. … Show more
Navitas' AI power case got another green light: Nvidia's Jensen Huang says the 800 VDC power rack roadmap remains intact, with shipments in the second half of 2026. Navitas' GaN and SiC chips sit directly in the rack's power-conversion path, and its 5th-generation GeneSiC technology supports a pivot from low-margin consumer electronics toward AI data centers, grid and industrial customers. QuantumScape's solid-state batteries are positioned for high-density backup units in these racks. x.comÂ
AI software and hardware advances make GPUs and power more valuable, creating huge long-term tailwinds for compute providers and AI model and app businesses. Each new software generation increases a GPU's value; each hardware generation increases the value of a gigawatt of power. That favors Nvidia, Broadcom, Intel and AppLovin. x.comÂ
Nvidia's CUDA retains developers, putting it among 12 stocks that could dominate the decade ahead. Nebius's GPU rental price rise signals demand; Fabrinet and Credo supply AI connectivity. DraftKings has betting scale; Microsoft has Azure and an OpenAI partnership; Figma anchors design work; Shopify powers stores. TeraWulf pivots power sites to AI leases; Constellation, the largest US nuclear operator, signs big-tech power deals; Meta spends on AI; Uber has autonomous-vehicle partnerships. x.com … Show more
The companies on Nvidia's partner list for its next-generation 800V power architecture are effectively the power semis Nvidia is telling investors to buy: Navitas, MediaTek, STMicroelectronics, Flex, Power Integrations, Delta Electronics, Alpha & Omega, onsemi, Infineon, Vertiv, Texas Instruments, Monolithic Power, GE Vernova, Analog Devices, ABB, BizLink, Eaton, LITE-ON, Schneider Electric and Siemens. Navitas and MediaTek lead the group's gains at more than 200% each. x.comÂ
Nvidia's official 800 VDC architecture partners stand to benefit as AI racks move to high-voltage DC power. They span GaN and SiC chipmakers Navitas, STMicroelectronics, onsemi and Infineon; conversion and analog suppliers Alpha & Omega, Power Integrations, Texas Instruments, Analog Devices and Monolithic Power, whose VRM chips are already inside Nvidia GPUs; and rack, building and grid power players Flex, Vertiv, GE Vernova, ABB, Eaton, Schneider Electric and Siemens. x.comÂ
Navitas offers exposure to Nvidia's push to 800V DC data-center power through its high exposure to SiC and GaN ICs for 800V DC. Nvidia has begun talks with major South Korean power equipment makers on DC infrastructure built around an approximately 800V system, a big signal that Nvidia is really driving the shift. Navitas is among Nvidia's previously named partners, alongside Infineon, Texas Instruments, Eaton and Vertiv. x.comÂ
AI power-semiconductor suppliers stand to make generational money as AI racks outgrow data-center wiring. NVIDIA's 2027 rack pulls 600 kW, while wiring built before 2025 was designed for 40 kW, so 800V DC power sidecars are being bolted beside existing racks. Those need silicon carbide and gallium nitride chips, made at volume by only a handful of companies whose stocks fell 40-60% as EV demand slowed. Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Meta are now new customers that are not bargaining on price. … Show more
Navitas is a one-customer concentration story facing heavy competition from tier-one suppliers. Its GaN portfolio winning Nvidia adoption played out, but STMicroelectronics and Infineon also supply Nvidia and are strong in GaN and SiC. GaN output may quadruple by 2030, yet SiC prices were hammered by Chinese capacity, unresolved, so revenue and margins could diverge sharply. Power and thermal efficiency are better played across these names than through Navitas alone. x.comÂ
