Generac Holdings is quietly becoming a key AI infrastructure bottleneck, because every hyperscale AI campus needs backup power from day one and the supply of large megawatt generators remains extremely tight. Data-center backup demand is exploding, Generac has a data-center backlog above $700 million, and EPS is expected to grow from $3.24 over the last twelve months to $13.69 by fiscal 2028. x.com 

Generac's data-center growth is starting to add to a healthier core business instead of merely offsetting residential weakness. Commercial and industrial sales rose 28%, residential sales rose 9%, and margins improved in both segments. x.com 

Alphabet's and Amazon's decades-long nuclear power deals show the AI buildout is not going backwards, since hyperscaler growth depends on securing electricity. Google committed to 20 years of nuclear power from Constellation Energy, supporting 890 MW of new capacity at 11 existing units, plus a separate 15-year deal for 2,700 MW, 3.59 GW combined. Long-lived parts and maintenance revenue is an underappreciated benefit for many behind-the-meter power firms, some of which have gotten very cheap on 2027-28 estimates. INNIO expects more than $50M a year per GW in services from its 19GW backlog and reserved slots, much of it arriving five and ten years after deployment, atop roughly $30M a year per GW from its 44GW installed base.
