Snap is undervalued, but management burning $4B+ on Specs is the biggest problem. At $2,000+ a pair, Specs are unlikely to go mass market: even 20M pairs, $40B of revenue and $10B of profit would be only a 150% ROI over 12 years, with under 1% odds of happening. Snap's European monetization is improving even without user growth. Q2 revenue per daily user rose 36%, from $2.65 in 2025 to $3.62 in 2026, while daily users slipped from 100M to 98M. Meta remains a bull case even though its new VR glasses lack a real use case. Moving the computer to a puck removes the headset's clunkiness, but the glasses narrow the field of view for gamers, lose the immersion earlier Oculus users wanted for VR chat and games, and trail Apple Vision Pro on productivity. Apple is far ahead in product, with advantages in content, ecosystem and trust, and Mark Zuckerberg seems too far from the product. x.com
