Enterprise and neocloud demand is creating a second wave of AI infrastructure spending, with tailwinds for Nvidia and Super Micro. Dell forecasts 200 GW of AI data center growth through 2030, half driven by these customers, and estimates a $1 trillion AI infrastructure opportunity over the next four years. AI servers could enter a new growth phase in 2027, with higher shipment volumes and more revenue per deployment. x.com 

Dell and HPE are priced on an AI-server story rather than their businesses. Like HP Inc., which just posted weak results on rising memory costs and thinner PC margins, they are cyclical hardware companies dependent on enterprise capex, yet their shares diverged only because of the AI-server label. Data center demand is real, but the premium has run far ahead of it. Such pricing can last long in a liquid, risk-on market, as in 1999 and 2021, so a drop is not imminent. x.com 

AI storage names are getting a demand pull-forward as customers rush to lock in supply-constrained hardware before price increases. IBM CEO Arvind Krishna said that in the last weeks of June clients shifted capex toward servers, storage and memory ahead of expected price hikes, a reprioritization bigger than IBM anticipated. That is a constructive read-through for Pure Storage, NetApp, Seagate, Western Digital and Dell. x.com 

Dell is on the beneficiary map for agentic AI, because "agentifying" the enterprise around data forces both a server and an edge reset. If agentic AI works, the enterprise storage stack is underbuilt and the market is not ready for it. Even a modest AI slowdown would not clear the shortages; customers will order ahead to secure allocation. Dell is one of the most underappreciated AI infrastructure plays because AI is only as valuable as its data, and Dell supplies the storage, servers, networking and cyber resilience enterprises need to keep that data private and secure. Michael Dell says it has been No. 1 in enterprise data storage for 23 years, with 31.2% share and 40.8% year-over-year growth. Dell should benefit from AI data-center construction because builders say almost every new facility runs on Dell or Super Micro servers. Sales rose 49% in the past year to $151B; Dell is 18% below its high and is an easy double from here. x.com 

Hardware is squeezing software as enterprises redirect budgets to scarce servers, GPUs and storage, favoring semiconductors over software. IBM's Q2 revenue of $17.2B missed its $17.9B target, and its CEO said clients moved software and IT consulting budgets to secure rising-priced hardware. Microsoft, ServiceNow and Salesforce face near-term pressure while Dell and Micron benefit. Aehr Test's beat and raised guidance counter claims the chip cycle is dead. x.com
