Bloom Energy solves power-development bottlenecks, a reason to own its shares. Object Zero lists land, permits, grid access, equipment, fuel security and community political power among the constraints, and says the remaining development sites keep getting worse. x.com 

Oracle's troubles will not hurt Bloom Energy's results, because with supply this short Bloom is little affected by demand. Its products can generate power as soon as they are installed, which gives them commodity-like appeal. x.com 

Bloom Energy's exposure to a possible 1-2 year delay at Oracle's Project Jupiter does not seem priced in at all. The Stargate behind-the-meter data center in New Mexico, which plans to use Bloom's fuel cells, faces permitting and pipeline-building blockers, as reported earlier this week. x.com 

Bloom Energy addresses the most urgent data center power bottleneck, time-to-power, by bringing new data centers online faster with on-site, behind-the-meter fuel cells; it is a top pick for 2026. Its expanded Oracle agreement covers up to 2.8GW of fuel cells for Oracle's data centers, with 1.2GW initially contracted. Per Bloom, the deal shows it can deliver the fast, load-following power AI workloads need, which traditional grids were not designed to provide. x.com 

Bloom Energy is relatively insulated from local opposition to data centers. It has already won big emergency orders driven by NIMBY resistance, including from Oracle. x.com 

Bloom Energy's demand may not become revenue when customers struggle to secure financing. Capital is difficult to raise in this climate; a reading of management's AI discussion also points to permitting, local opposition and customer credit as obstacles despite robust demand. Bloom Energy could look cheap if it hits its revenue targets amid exploding demand for on-site power. Revenue is projected at $4.5B in 2026 and $16B by 2029, implying 3.5x 2029 sales at a $56B market cap. Bloom Energy's fast on-site generation could earn a premium by shortening the wait for AI compute. Anthropic's S-1 says it may buy generation equipment above prevailing market rates if it can be deployed faster. Some planned Anthropic data centers rely on dedicated on-site gas generation, and it has committed to cover consumer power-price increases they cause. Bloom's pitch is power in months rather than years waiting for the grid. x.com 

Bloom Energy's revenue is growing faster than cash collection. Q3 sales reached $1.24bn and the 2026 guide rose to $4.4-4.6bn, yet operating cash flow was -$27m despite $309m from customer deposits and deferred revenue. Contract assets rose $430m in the quarter and from $241m to $859m year to date. Its largest customer fell to 43% of revenue, but the second, at 26%, is a related party. Oracle looks buyable for now because the large financing and equity raises feared for next year no longer look imminent. New Mexico commissioners say there were no talks to alter Project Jupiter's power agreement and doubt a majority will approve a change; Stargate may be over a year behind.
